From the mural, a view of the city in 1850 together with a short history. The town was given as a dowry in 1276 to the Duke of Katzenelnbogen. The castle was built in 1371. In 1806 the French destroyed the castle and it was rebuilt in 1896. A bunch of other things also happened. Guests are heartily welcomed.
