Finally, Carolyn got to pet a dog. And what a happy puppy he is. Dogs Square
That looks like it could be a nice place to eat dinner. But I think it was closed. Another path and stairs leading up, this time up to the castle. One more look at the market square. We had dinner our last evening in Meissen at a restaurant right across the street from the hotel. Artwork on the wall of the restaurant. Another look at the castle. Some of the beautiful houses on the other side of the river. Looking up Elb Street back towards the city center. I was on my way to the bridge to take some evening photos of ... ... Albrechtsburg. Zooming in on the castle. A beautiful evening for some photos. Too bad I didn't have a really good tripod. The breakfast room at our hotel the day we had to leave. OK, so just a few more photos of the castle! Absolutely gorgeous! One more look back into town. (I was just here last night!) OK, this is the last one! I promise! The train station at Meissen. Meissen was a great city to visit. Hope to come back some day.
