The Marktplatz again. Another view of the Marktplatz. The previous two photos and this one make a sort of collage of the market square. A door that was built to last the centuries. This gate leads from the courtyard of the Church of Our Lady. More Meissen architecture. Now that's a bay window! The detail under the windows. Looking at the restaurant Vincenz Richter from the side street. Looking back at the Marktplatz after we had dinner at Vincenz Richter. Marktplatz at night. This restaurant has closed down for the night. I like to take these night shots. The highlight of Carolyn's trip: The Meissen Porcelain Factory. Inside the Meissen Porcelain Factory's museum. This would be quite the dinner service. Looking down from the stairs at the elaborate table service. Detail of the table service. A beautiful soup tureen. Some of the many styles of porcelain the factory has made over the years. Meissen porcelain is for more than just plates, cups and vases! I'm not sure if this has a practical use, not that it matters. A beautiful and complex vase. Exquisite detail. More detail of the vase.
